Kaz Cambell's "My Monster, The Bully Buster, Boris to the Rescue" is just the kind of book that kids like to read. It is about eight-year-old Bob who is afraid to go to sleep because he is convinced that all kinds of beings come into his room when he goes to sleep, especially from under his bed. His mother solves the problem for him by giving him a Dream Catcher, which Bob hangs over his bed. During the night, a red monster comes out of the Dream Catcher. Bob is at first frightened until he realizes that the red monster, named Boris, came to help him. Bob sees Boris helping him on this first encounter with him. Bob also soon discovers that only he, no one else, can see and hear Boris.Now, there is a bully at Bob's school called Jack. Jack always picks on Bob and does all he can to embarrass him. But Boris saves Bob on several interesting and fun-filled occasions.
