Love the books, as themselves. But, wouldn’t recommend buying this specific set if your only buying because of the stacking abilities. They do not stack! The book doesn’t close enough to stack them on top of each other. I love how small they are though, that’s why I don’t regret the purchase but if I had known this I would have just bought them individually in the regular board book style.I bought it as Christmas present for my almost 2 year old but my 4 year old love it! it's small (about 2.5 inch and square) and after the pages have been flip through it doesn't close tight when sit up so can't stack them up like the picture. And my 2 year old stepped on it so one of them broke in half. Nonetheless, it is still a big hit with my 4 year old, who owns regular size Leslie Patricelli books. My daughter loved Leslie Patricelli's Potty book when she was one year old. I always meant to buy more of her books, but forgot until she was too old. I purchased these books for my infant son. My daughter immediately recognized the style and loves them all. My son is too young to show his interest yet, but I suspect he'll be a fan. I actually like the small size of the books - it makes them fun. The idea of them being blocks, however, is kind of comical. So this is a set of 4 mini versions of Leslie Patricelli books. Because they’re so small, they apparently don’t include the last couple of pages of the books. I say this because I have 2 of these books in the regular size already from when my older child was a baby, and so far I noticed that Yummy Yucky doesn’t have the extra yummy and yucky items at the end. That’s understandable though. What isn’t is that the “binding“ on the books looks to be very flimsy paper tape that will tear super easily. Based on some of the review pictures, that seems to be the case. If they improved the binding, this would make a great little gift. Or just use your own duct tape over it.Fun little books. We keep them I. The diaper bag to use to entertain our toddler when we are out. Very easy for him to manipulate on his own.Very cute, my daughter loves them! The only thing is she carries them around everywhere and they are a bit flimsy. I wish they were just little board books but the binding is tape and comes apart. Buy the big ones, they're built sturdier for little toddler hands.I purchased this item for my 15 month old. He loves looking thru these books. They are small and chunky and are easy for him to hold and flip thru. I really like the illustrations in these books and so does my baby. I did purchase a couple of the full size books after I received these because I enjoyed them so much. My baby was very excited to see those as well. I think this item would make a good gift as well. These books are tiny- about the size of a post-it note. I was expecting something a little bigger and little more well-made. The binding of each book seems to be tape. I'm not sure how long these will last with my son, but he loves the Leslie Patricelli books so I'm giving them to him for Christmas anyway. The 'Baby's Book Tower' by Leslie Patricelli contains four miniature board books - 'Baby HAPPY Baby SAD', 'No NO Yes YES', 'Yummy YUCKY' and 'Quiet LOUD'. Patricelli's illustrations are full of humour that will resonate with parents, as well as being fun for the target audience! The books are have sturdy pages, so they're great for babies and toddlers to handle, although they are only made of cardboard and so will not ultimately survive very rough treatment or repeated chewing. The only potential downside for UK readers is that the books are written is US English, and so I have found myself reading 'Mummy' instead of 'Mommy' as printed ... I also anglicised 'fish sticks' and 'boogers' as I'm not ready for a bi-lingual child! Aside from this, the antics of the little baby have kept me and my daughter amused for hours!Great tiny books for tiny fingers to leaf through ? I can't wait to see my 1year olg grandaughter getting her little mitts on them! They're so cute n stackable too ?. Brilliant addition to a child's library!I bought these books for my smallest child, now one year old. He likes them, Holds them in his tiny hands and leafs through them, but the one who really adores them is my two-year old. He sits on my lap and we go through the books time after time, just telling what the baby is doing. One thing about the binding, though: it's not really toddler proof... It tears quite easily.Too tiny to see the illustrations properly. The binding is flimsy too. I returned and bought two of these in full size.Excellent story work but didn't realize the books were as teeny tiny as they are.
