Ominous Love is a wonderful and unexpected coming-of-age love story. It does have a bit of sex and violence but - when measured against most books on the market today - is very tame in comparison, and certainly contains nothing too graphic for a mature young adult. Eloise’s parents leave town for several weeks, leaving our spunky young heroine home alone. Mysterious happenings begin to occur, and then she finds an unconscious young man - gorgeous, naked, and amnesiac - on the beach. Although mature for her age, like most teenagers with raging hormones, Elle doesn’t always make the wisest choices, and so she decides takes the young man home with her. However, there is more - much more - to this mysterious stranger than meets the eye. The plot brims with action. Blending romance, mystery, and suspense together with the paranormal, the story has numerous unexpected twists and turns which will keep the reader guessing until the very end. Unable to put it down, I finished it in two days, and then was so sad that it was over. I am now anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.I highly recommend Ominous Love, and am certain that word-of-mouth will find this series a massive and loyal audience.
