The Bob paper-back books are one of the simple reader-sets I used to teach my children how to read. They are perfect to teach from because of the simple worded story line that builds on sounds and repetition of words in the story. I can’t say enough for this easy way of teaching to read especially if your child is a very beginner and or struggles with paying attention to be able to read. The illustrations are beautifully drawn with simplicity that is engaging but without distracting. Even if your child has already begun reading, these are perfect quick-reads they can manage on their own to help build speed with reading. My children benefited so much from these books!
